Menengai Crater Hike

Located in Nakuru County, Menengai Crater is the second largest crater in Africa, lying at 2,278m above sea level. It is an inactive volcanic mountain with an area of 90km2 and a diameter of 12km

Leave from Nairobi at 6:30am to make it to the Crater by 9.00am.

 The hike starts at the main KFS gate , take a hour to walk to the rim of the crater,then will descend down to the bottom of the crater which may take 1hour to and fro, Lunch at the top of the crater

Later gently descend to our starting point then depart to Nairobi

which caters for Transport (comfy tour van),Entrances &guard fees and a bottle of water
